Setting Up Your Company Account

Configure your company profile, invite team members, and connect the apps your agents will use.

Your First Login

Symbi uses Google or Microsoft single sign-on — no passwords required. The first person from your company to sign in automatically becomes the Owner of the workspace.

From there, you can invite the rest of your team and start configuring Symbi.

Configure Your Company Profile

Open Settings and fill in your company profile. This is more than branding — everything you enter here shapes how your agents communicate.

  • Company Purpose — a short statement describing what your company does
  • Vision — your long-term goals and direction
  • Values — the principles that guide how your team works
  • Brand Narrative — the tone and voice your company uses in customer-facing communication

Info

Your company profile is automatically injected into every agent's context. The more specific your purpose, values, and brand narrative, the more accurately your agents reflect your company's voice — across all of them, without custom prompt edits.

Invite Team Members

From Settings, invite colleagues by email. Each teammate signs in with their own Google or Microsoft account. You assign one of three roles:

  • Owner — full access to everything, including billing and account-level settings
  • Admin — can manage agents, configure integrations, edit knowledge bases, and review agent actions
  • Member — can view dashboards, review agent actions, and monitor performance

You can change a member's role at any time.

Personal Assistant Permissions

Each team member automatically gets a Personal Assistant available in the chat panel. Owners and Admins can control what personal connectors and skills are enabled across the team from Settings.

See Personal Assistant for what teammates can do with theirs.

Connect Your Apps

Before agents can start working, they need access to the tools your team uses. Visit Settings → Connectors to connect services like FreshDesk, Zendesk, Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, Linear, and more.

All credentials are stored encrypted and decrypted only when needed to talk to the source system on your behalf.

Tip

Start by connecting Slack — it's the fastest way to review and approve your agents' actions in real time. Most teams add it even before their first agent.

Performance Estimates

In Settings, configure the estimates that power Symbi's "Hours Saved" and "Cost Saved" metrics:

  • Hourly rate — cost per hour of manual handling
  • Time per task — minutes it takes a human to handle each task type

Adjusting these values retroactively updates savings numbers across the Dashboard. Most teams revisit them quarterly as they get a better sense of real time savings.
