Terms of Service

Last updated: March 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Symbi platform operated by Symbi AS, a Norwegian company. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Symbi, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you are using Symbi on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Symbi provides a multi-tenant SaaS platform for discovering, hiring, and managing AI digital employees. Our services include:

  • Access to a catalog of pre-built AI agents for various business functions
  • Tools for configuring, deploying, and monitoring AI digital employees
  • Integration with third-party services (Slack, FreshDesk, etc.) as configured by you
  • Human-in-the-loop review workflows for AI-generated outputs

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Symbi uses OAuth authentication through Google and Microsoft and does not store passwords. Each user account is associated with a single company tenant, and data is isolated between tenants.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Symbi to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Process personal data in ways that are not covered by your privacy policy or data processing agreements
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data or the platform's infrastructure
  • Use the platform to generate harmful, discriminatory, or misleading content

5. Intellectual Property

Symbi and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including all software, designs, and documentation. Your data remains yours — we do not claim ownership of any content you upload or generate through the platform. AI-generated outputs produced by your digital employees are owned by you, subject to any applicable third-party AI provider terms.

6. Billing and Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Usage-based charges (e.g., AI processing credits) are billed in arrears. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and you agree to Stripe's terms of service for payment-related matters.

7. AI Output and Accuracy

AI digital employees generate outputs based on machine learning models provided by third parties (such as OpenAI and Anthropic). While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before it is sent to your customers or used for business decisions. Symbi provides human-in-the-loop review tools to help you maintain quality control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, Symbi's total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Symbi in the 12 months preceding the claim. Symbi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. You may export your data before termination using the data export functionality in your account settings. We will retain your data for 90 days after termination, after which it will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway.
